Room one · The long floor

Designed for travel, not just steps in place.

Longer movement patterns need distance to make sense. Our primary room gives Standard and social ballroom enough floor to teach acceleration, direction changes and floorcraft at a useful scale.

Sprung surfaceA resilient dance floor suited to repeated walking, turns and longer practice blocks.
Clear perimeterReduced furniture around the working edge keeps movement lanes readable.
Measured soundBalanced volume supports musical detail without turning instruction into a club environment.
Private coaching room for ballroom lessons

Room two · The atelier

Closer work, fewer distractions.

Private sessions often need less floor and more attention. The atelier is used for frame correction, wedding preparation, beginner assessments and technical work where small physical changes matter more than distance travelled.

Both rooms use the same understated material palette so moving between private and group formats feels continuous. Students are asked to use clean indoor footwear to protect the floor surface.

Arrival

1801 Hollis Street, Halifax.

Your booking confirmation includes the room and arrival time. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before a first session so there is time to change shoes and discuss any movement considerations with your instructor.
